About Me

Hi, I'm Betty! It would be an honor to work with you, to be the extra set of eyes to help improve your project.

My husband and I live in Pennsylvania. We are blessed to be in an area where there are mountains to view and farmland to admire. It is not unusual to see a horse-and-buggy travel down our street. The summer produce is oh so good!

I've been blessed with three wonderful children. They're adults now and live too far away. We've also been blessed with an amazing grandson. He's a toddler, so much fun, a terrific fellow!

I've spent decades as a registered nurse. (Is that where I learned to pay attention to details?) After retiring from my profession, I wrote the book 66 Books and a Challenge. The book challenges readers to learn the Bible books and offers tips to achieve this goal.

Unfortunately, one can find grammatical errors in my book. At the time the book was written, I didn't know professional proofreaders existed.  I also found out that even if you spend thousands of dollars to get a book published, the publisher does not correct any errors. Whatever you send in, that's what gets published—even the blunders.

Me? I'm an avid reader. A tennis player and pickleball player. Definitely a chocolate fan! I enjoy serving my Lord Jesus. I like to spend time working in the yard and socializing with family and friends. I am a graduate of the General Proofreading Theory and Practice course, a member of Distributed Proofreaders and Project Gutenberg, and I am ready to be your proofreader.

It would be a privilege to work with you. Let Spot On Proofing help you compose your next exceptional project!
